Attack on Masjid-ul-Haram in Mecca but Saudi security forces have failed a terrorist attack
Saudi Arabia says Saudi security forces have failed a terrorist attack on the holy sanctuary Mosque-ul-Islam in Mecca Makramah.
The Interior Ministry says a suicide attacker in a building blew himself up when security officials surrounded his building.
After the explosion, the building was severely damaged and 11 people were injured, including five policemen.
Remember that because of the last days of the Islamic month of Ramadan, millions of Muslims are present in Mecca.
Saudi officials have not issued any further reports about the attack.
It is clear that many attacks have been carried out in Saudi Arabia in the past few years, and many of them have been accepted by the extremist organization, Islami Islam.
Most of the attacks have been targeted to the country’s security officials and minorities Shi’a community.
In July 2016, four security officials were killed in a suicide attack near Masjid Nabbawi in the city of Medina.
Saudi Arabia is a part of the US Alliance against Islamist Islamists and other terrorist organizations in Syria and Iraq.
